I had such good memories there and actually they had very good sales back in the days when I had very little money for shopping. It's rather small so I guess that means people didn't used to buy as much as we do now.P-Dothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13148217708832668431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-532775452557508029.post-8946703860604317812008-12-19T09:48:00.000-08:002008-12-19T09:48:00.000-08:00I still have some of the Christmas decorations fro...I still have some of the Christmas decorations from the last year F&N was in business. Their decorations were always way ahead of the other stores. A friend scored a bunch of the last decorations just before they closed the doors and gave them to me when she moved. Most of it is beautiful roses made of double sheets of folded newspaper and painted with a burgundy, shiny stain. The newsprint showing through gives them a depth of color and a 'textured' look. Going to have to go out to the garage and find them again.Attebettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15920437248597221802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-532775452557508029.post-85530119040383049242008-12-18T14:44:00.000-08:002008-12-18T14:44:00.000-08:00Thanks for this little history lesson On F&N.....Thanks for this little history lesson On F&N...love that store!
